A standard set of 7 differential rice cultivars commonly used in china, the Tsunematru mono-resistance-gene lines from Japan and 9 cultivars commonly planted in Sichuan (China) were used to study the race composition and cross infection of Magnaporthe grisea in rice mixture fields in Sichuan, China, in 2004-2005. The results showed that at first, there was no significant difference in the race composition of M. grisea between the hybrid and glutinous groups.
