Rabbits were divided into Group I (intranasal), Group II (intratracheal), Group III (hydrocortisone treated) and Group IV (control) treatments with 6 rabbits each to investigate the haemato-biochemical, pathological and serological responses to Pasteurella multocida infection. Infected Groups (I and II plus hydrocortisone) with P. multocida serotype A:3 revealed respiratory distress and bacteria were reisolated from heart blood.
