The effect of bioformulations and bordeaux mixture on the management of major diseases of betelvine (Piper betle Linn.)

In an attempt to conclude whether one should use bioprotectants or fungicide or both to get a good crop of betelvine, an experiment was conducted with marketed bioformulations (Trishul, Bioderma), experimental selection T<sub>J</sub> and a chemical Bordeauex Mixture (BM) as standard. The results indicated supremacy of chemical fungicide over bioagent in reducing disease incidence while yield attributing characters were promoted due to the use of bioformulations.
