The form structure and taxonomy of intermediate Populations of Picea abies and P-obovata

The form structure and taxonomic belonging of pine populations to Picea abies and P. obovata within a range of 24-120 degrees E were studied according to the main diagnostic characteristic - form of seed scales. The discriminant analysis was used for processing of the data obtained. A conventional boundary between the populations of these two spruce species and a range of intermediate spruce populations were determined.
