Determination of reservoir intake and fluid crossflows in the injection wells of Uzen Field

Determination of reservoir intake and fluid crossflows in the injection wells of Uzen Field

Sbornikh Nauchnykh Trudov - Vsesoyuznyy Neftegazovyy Nauchno-Issledovatel'skiy Institut 112: 91-97

A problem is treated regarding determination of water absorption profile in the injection wells according to the results of logging. Examples of practical application of radiogeochemical effect to determine fluid crossflows in the wells of Uzen Field are given. Accompanying water was injected in the wells examined. It was demonstrated that the best efficiency of the studies is achieved for the complex of gas logging, thermometry and noise measurements.
