Advances and prospects of lake sediments and environmental change in China



Diqiu Kexue Jinzhan = Advance in Earth Science 14(4): 417-422



New progress in lake sediments and environmental change in China since the late 1980s is discussed. Highlights emphasized include Asian paleomonsoon changes recorded by lake sediments, environmental changes on the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau recorded by lacustrine sediments, and lake responses to nature-human interaction. Important aspects of research on lake sediments and environmental change in the future are pointed out.
