Evaluation of two different systems for grape harvesting using horizontal and vertical shaking

Evaluation of two different systems for grape harvesting using horizontal and vertical shaking

Agricoltura Mediterranea 136(3/4): 181-188

Two grape harvesting machines, one using horizontal shaking and another using vertical shaking, were evaluated for the mechanical harvesting of grape Trebbiano Romagnolo. The effects of vibrations transferred from the shaker to the plants and quality of resultant wine were studied. The extent and duration of the vibrations were measured.
