Correlates the geological dating of coastal terraces with the archeological dating of North Norwegian and Kola sites. Tanner's (No 32382) dating of the Rybachiy Peninsula terraces to the earliest late glacial and the maximal postglacial (Tapes) transgressions agrees with C-14 datings in Norway and analogous material excavated by N. N. Gurina (qv). Most of the sites on Motovskiy Gulf and Ust'-Tsivol'ka are neolithic, i.e. <4000 BP. The oldest sites are mesolithic, similar to Norwegian sites with a C-14 dating of 8300-6500 BP.
