Isotope composition and origin of carbonate manganese ores from Kara area of Pai-Khoi

Based on new determinations, the authors establish a significant difference in the C and O isotope composition of carbonate Mn ores from Middle Devonian, Famennian-Tournaisian, and Lower Permian deposits. These differences correlate well with those of ore genetic characteristics.
