Gold mineralization occurrences including several gold deposits in the Beishan area belong to mesothermal-epithermal deposits. Based on the metallogenetic characteristics, four mineralization types can be divided in the Precambrian para-greenschists, fragment-altered rocks, Au-bearing quartz veins of basic intrusion edges, and low metamorphic carbonaceous clasolites. The metallogenetic characteristics show that the gold deposits formed during the polystates of mineralization and were controlled by the front imbricated fault zones of the NEE-SWW large thrust-nappe.
