Abstract
Barite layers are 3-5 m thick and conformable with surrounding Permian sediments. In the immediate vicinity of the barite layers there occur rocks dominated by carbonates, feldspars and tourmaline. The article also gives the basic characteristics of barite, carbonates, feldspars and tourmaline from the barite layers as well as their immediate neighbourhood.
