Abstract
Jiuxi Basin has been explored and developed for a long time, and its geological background is clear. Some geologists have proposed that oil in fields in the southern Laojunmiao anticlinal region came from the Qinnan sag, and this petroleum migrated from west to east. Using neutral pyrrolic N compounds, this paper tested the hypothesis and studied the migration, trapping and preservation of petroleum in the Jiuxi Basin. Favorable exploration targets are pointed out.
