New and little known species of non-biting midges (Diptera, Chironomidae) from South Primorye (Russian Far East)

A new species, Smittia proboscidea sp.n. (subfamily Orthocladiinae), is described and figured. Paraboreochlus okinawanus Kobayashi et Kuranishi (subfamily Podonominae) is first recorded for the fauna of Russia (south part of Primorye Territory, Russian Far East), its male imago being redescribed. A new key for the known species of Paraboreochlus, based on males, is provided.
