Abstract
A small Oriental species, Cicindela davisoni Gestro, known so far by means of the single .female. holotype only, collected in the Tenasserim by Leonardo Fea in April 1887, was recently re-discovered in N.W. Thailand after nearly a century since its first description. The examination of several specimens, including some males, resulted into the attribution of davisoni to a new distinct genus Naviauxella n. gen., mainly characterized by its unusual internal sac of aedeagus, the four-haired labrum, and the reduced pubescence of underside.
