The actual conditions research of sulfonylurea herbicide-resistant weeds occurrence on paddy field in Yamagata Prefecture

Eighty-eight rice paddy fields among 135 fields in 13 divisions were found to grow sulfonylurea herbicide-resistant weeds in Yamagata prefecture in Japan in 2005. SU resistant Scirpus juncoides Roxb. was confirmed in all 13 divisions, whereas SU resistant Lindernia pyxidaria was in 11 divisions and SU resistant Monochoria vaginalis in 4 divisions.
