On the basis of aedoeagus morphology in the male genitalia, Archips podana moths are subdivided into 4 morphs which differ in sexual behaviour. The ratio of these forms in 53 populations from the European part of the USSR and from Czechoslovakia is determined; males for this investigation were attracted by pheromone traps. The geographical variation of the proportion between forms with apical and lateral tooth of aedoeagus is described. The border between these groups of populations passes through the north of the Caucasus. In the European group of populations part of males with the lateral tooth on the aedoeagus increases clinally from the North-West to the South-East.
