Abstract
Two new tiger beetle species, Habroscelimorpha wellingi n. sp. and Brasiella maya n. sp., are described from Yucatan, Mexico. The genera they belong to have respectively Nearctic and Neotropical origins and distribution, thus clearly confirming Mexico as an area of considerable faunal overlapping.
