Abstract
Luperina nickerlii (Lepidoptera, Noctuidae) was found for the first time in the East-German country "Brandenburg" in 1979. Up to 1992 this species has been recorded from more and more places at the southern and eastern part of the country "Brandenburg" and at the north-eastern part of "Sachsen". It seems to be an expression of an area expansion of the atlanto-mediterrane species bounded to sandy and dry habitats with Festuca ovina agg. to North and North-East, respectively. A map of the actuel distribution is given.
