Chromatic patterns of the leopard shark, Triakis semifasciata Girard

California Fish Game 50(3): 207-214

All leopard sharks show a basic primary chromatic pattern. Sharks larger than 737 mm demonstrate additional secondary markings. All markings were found to be independent of sex and geographical distribution. Two anomalously marked sharks are described.
