Clays in animal nutrition. 7. Effect of feeding ensiled sulphuric acid-urea-tafla treated rice straw by crossbred Friesian bull calves on digestibility, growth performance and some physiological parameters

Egyptian Journal of Nutrition and Feeds 4(1): 1-9

Twenty one growing crossbred Friesian bull calves averaging about 180 kg were used in three feeding trials (7 in each) to study digestibility, growth performance, blood components and histopathological status in liver and kidney of bull calves as affected by feeding ensiled sulphuric acid-urea treated rice straw with or without tafla and 50% of nutritional requirements from concentrate.
