Safety evaluation of insecticides to Cyrtohinus lividipennis (Reuter) (Hemiptera: Miridae), a predator of Nilaparvata lugens (Stal) (Homoptera: Delphacidae)

Safety evaluation of insecticides to Cyrtohinus lividipennis (Reuter) (Hemiptera: Miridae), a predator of Nilaparvata lugens (Stal) (Homoptera: Delphacidae)

Scientia Agricultura Sinica 41(7): 1995-2002

The safety of 14 insecticides classified into 7 groups to the adults, nymphs and eggs of C. lividipennis, an important predator of Nilaparvata lugens, was evaluated. Toxic film method, rice spray method, and rice stem dipping method were used to study the safety of the insecticides to C. lividipennis under laboratory conditions.
