The tadpole of Hyla californiae Gorman

The tadpole of Hyla californiae Gorman

Tex Jour Sci 16(1): 80-84

A comparison of the tadpole of H. californiae, a sp. of tree frog recently described from southern California, to larvae of H. regilla and H. arenicolor supports the recognition of H. californiae as a distinct form. A complete description of the advanced tadpole of H. californiae is presented along with measurements and proportions.
