Blood sugar tolerance tests in psoriasis vulgaris

, : Blood sugar tolerance tests in psoriasis vulgaris. Dermatologica 104(3): 171-175

Blood sugar tolerance tests of normal individuals and of psoriasis patients are identical. Both groups were subdivided into 3 age groups (16-39; 40-59; 60 yrs. and older). In normal persons as well as in psoriatic patients slower decrease of blood sugar values with age is followed by a slower increase. Thus, there is no reason to expect disturbances of the blood sugar mechanism in cases of psoriasis vulgaris.
