Chemistry and physiology of certain metabollcally Important adds. 23. The keto-acid metabolism of Datura stramonium var. stramonium. III. Investigations on the daily variation of the keto-acid content in D. stramonium var. stramonium

Pharmazie 19(9): 610-614

In entire young plants and leaves, at the chief flowering period, the pyruvic (I) and [alpha]-ketoglutaric (II) acid content were studied over a 24-hr, cycle; II was always predominant Over a 24-hr, period, I and II always showed nearly parallel curves.
