These compds. may be sepd. by a gradient elution procedure from neutral 40 X 60 mesh Darco charcoal, using the following order of solvents: (1) NH3[long dash]EtOH[long dash]H,0 (5:1:13), (2) NH2[long dash]EtOH[long dash]H20 (5:5:13), (3) NH3[long dash]PrOH[long dash]HoO (16:11:26), (4) NH3[long dash]PrOH[long dash]BuOH" H2O (14:12:7:21). Flow rate was 0.25 ml./min. and the alcs, used as solvent were prepd. in spectrophotometric grade by treatment with Na borohydride at room temp.
