In rats made to swim or under the influence of drugs (atroplne -1 mg/100 g of body weight; chlorpromazine - 3 mg/kg intramuscularly; hexamethonium - 1 mg/100 g intramuscularly), relative circulation was determined with Rb86 distribution in the adrenal, thyroid, pltuitary, myocardium, striated muscle, kidney and liver. Vascular reactivity differs greatly between organs. Among the most evident variations, thyroid and renal vasoconstriction were described. Swimming effort reduced circulation in these organs and increased muscle circulation.
