Triploids, tetraploids and aneuploids were found in Chrysanthemum cinerariaefolium. The growth of triploids is more vigorous than that of diploids and tetraploids; tetraploids grow more vigorously than the diploids. The content of pyrethrin in the triploids is in general about the same as in diploids, while the content in tetraploids is lower than in diploids.
