Results are given of a study of 12 families of bivalve mollusks collected on the Eastern Pacific Expeditions of the New York Zoological Society, 1936, 1937-1938. Reference to the original descr., type locality, range, collecting stations and descr. notes of 61 spp., and sspp. are included. 7 spp. are illustrated. Included are: Periploma teevani*, Pseudochama saavedrai*, Ctena clarionensis*, all from Mexico.
