This paper is the 5th of a series dealing with tropical west American marine mollusks collected on the Eastern Pacific Expeditions of the New York Zoological Society, 1936, 1937-1938. The present paper contains the results of a study of bivalve mollusks of the families Ungulinidae, Leptonidae, Sportellidae, Cardiidae and Corbiculidae. Reference to the original description, type locality, range, collecting stations and descriptive notes of 37 spp. and subspp. are included.
