Effect of graphite and other modified carbon compounds in animal experiments, also a contribution to experimental silicosis research

Graphite, diamond and carborundum powder cause fibrous nodules in the peritoneum of mice. Amphorous gas coal has similar but less expressed effect. These results are discussed with reference to the lung-fibrosis inducing action of these compounds in miners.
