Effect of hydrogen phosphide fumigation on organoleptic quality of rice

Even under fumigation with high dosage rates and at high moisture levels, the rice samples were found organoleptically good. Under practical conditions, such extreme treatments are not likely to be carried out and therefore, fumigation of rice stocks with hydrogen phosphide can safely be adopted without fear of affecting changes in its color, flavor and taste.
