Enterohepatlc circulation of 7 -3H-DHEA-14C-glucuronoslde and 7 -3H-DHEA-35S-sulphate in the guinea pig

Experientia 22(9): 577-578

By Infusing doubly labelled conjugates into the duodenum or into a mesenteric vein, DHEA dehydroeptandrosterone sulfate passes the intestinal wall as well as the liver nearly without hydrolysis. However, most of the glucuronoside is hydrolysed In the intestine and reconjugated as sulfate.
