Humidity reactions of the larvae of Tenebrio molitor L and the effect of cannibalism on these reactions

Humidity reactions of the larvae of Tenebrio molitor L and the effect of cannibalism on these reactions

Ann Entomol Fennici: 71-80

The normal undesiccated larvae of Tenebrio molitor are hydronegative throughout the range of the humidity scale. The alternative humidities used were 100 - 99.5%, 100 -97%, 100 -77%, 77 - 34%, and 24 - 0% R.H. The intensity of the hydronegative reaction increases with the humidity difference when the higher alternative is 100% R.H. and the differences 0.5%, 3%, and 23% R.H.
