Within-day (within-test) 95% confidence limits for reproducibility of titers in the test are plus or minus one 2-fold dilution. Day-to-day (test-to-test) 95% confidence limits for reproducibility of titers is plus or minus one 4-fold dilution. Titers obtained in the methylene blue dye test are reproduced well by the IFA test; statistical comparison of the 2 tests was not done.
