Inhibition of drug metabolism I Kinetics of the inhibition of the N-Demethylation of ethylmorphine by 2-diethylaminoethyl, 2, 2-diphenylvalerate HC1 and related compounds

Inhibition of drug metabolism I Kinetics of the inhibition of the N-Demethylation of ethylmorphine by 2-diethylaminoethyl, 2, 2-diphenylvalerate HC1 and related compounds

Mol Pharmacol: 319-327

SKF 525-A and 10 congeners were incubated with hepatic micro-somes, and all were found to be N-dealkylated. The kinetics of the inhibition of the N-demethylation of ethylmorphine by the 11 compounds was studied and found to be competitive in all cases.
