Metabolism of tricarboxylic acid cycle intermediates and concomitant oxidative phosphorylation by turtle cardiac mitochondria

Metabolism of tricarboxylic acid cycle intermediates and concomitant oxidative phosphorylation by turtle cardiac mitochondria

Diss Abstr 25(1): 43

[Abstract only] [long dash]The capacity of turtle heart mitochondria to metabolize intermediates of the tricarboxylic acid cycle and to couple the oxidation with phosphorylation appears to be equivalent to that of mitochondria of mammalian cardiac muscle.
