Molecular state of the intra-ribosomal ribonucleic acids in the course of cellular ageing

Molecular state of the intra-ribosomal ribonucleic acids in the course of cellular ageing

C R Hebd Seances Acad Science Ser D Science Natur paris 264(9): 1208-1210

In the course of cellular aging the number of ribosomes decreases, the ribosomal ribonucleic acids are depolym-erized and are localized in the non-particulate phase of cytoplasm. It is obligatorily preceded by the destruction of ribonucleo-proteinic structures which makes nucleic acids accessible to the cellular nucleases.
