Abstract
Plants of variety Norin 29 were grown in 3 constant temperature water tanks set in open air, with temperatures at 33° (Plot H), 28° (Plot M) and 23° C. (Plot L) from July 7 to Sept. 17. Daily samples of pollen were tested for germination on starch paste. Plot M tended to high percentages and Plot L showed lowest percentages. Grain fertility was always highest in Plot M and lowest in Plot H.
