Abstract
Sheep off the short-rotation ryegrass and clover had the heaviest carcases followed by those off the short-rotation ryegrass alone, perennial ryegrass and clover then perennial ryegrass alone, in that order. Weights of dissectible fatty tissue and chemical fat of carcases were directly correlated with carcase weights as, in general, were weights of non-carcase components.
