Vitis labrusca vars. "Fredonia", "Seneca", and "Van Buren", imported from British Columbia, were grown successfully in Kent. Fredonia and Seneca ripened Sept. 8, 1957 in Kent which is earlier than in Ontario. The bunches were quite small and needed no thinning, but the grapes were larger than outdoor Brandt grapes.
