Root and foot rot diseases of wheat

Root and foot rot diseases of wheat

New S Wales Dept Agric Sci Bull 77: 5-98

This bulletin deals in particular with occurrence of these diseases and their etiology, and control under Australian conditions, and reviews the literature on the subject from other cereal-growing countries of the world, to furnish under 1 cover a comprehensive list of subject references for the benefit of interested research and extension workers. In this review take-all and common root rot receive more detailed consideration than the several other root and foot rot diseases that have been recorded in Australia. This is in keeping with their more widespread occurrence and greater economic importance under local conditions. There is a bibliography of approximately 800 references.
