Storage and immunogenicity were studied with UV inactivated and Merthiolate-cystine inactivated vaccines. These products maintained titers of the same level as that demonstrated at preparation for 70 and 240 days respectively. The chick embryo preparations were stated to contain more virus per protein content than goat-brain vaccine, and produced higher neutralizing titers in dogs than phenol inactivated chick embryo vaccine or phenol inactivated goat-brain vaccine.
