Two different intrinsic factor concentrates from hog's pylorus were fractionated electrophoretically, and the fractions were compared with regard to B12-binding power and intrinsic factor (IC) activity, the latter determined with the Schilling technique. The B12-binding material essentially accompanies the intrinsic factor activity, a fact which suggests a relationship between IF activity and B12-binding power.
