Studies on the cytology of yea3t-cells. II. Research on the process of mitosis by electron-microscopy

Studies on the cytology of yea3t-cells. II. Research on the process of mitosis by electron-microscopy

Japanese Jour Bacteriol 17(4): 286-289

In Saccharomyces cervisiae the chromonemata and chromatin-granules are observed in the chromosome by electron microscopy. At metaphase the nucleus changes to the spindle directly or the intranuclear spindle appears in the nucleus. The spindle fibers are recognized in the spindle at metaphase.
