Studies on the genus Pluteus I. Redescriptions of American species of Pluteus based on a study of type specimens

Studies on the genus Pluteus I. Redescriptions of American species of Pluteus based on a study of type specimens

Lloydia [cincinnati] 21(3): 115-136

The species studied in this first contribution are mostly those originally described by W. A. Murrill; thirty-two are redescribed with particular emphasis being placed on the microscopic characters. The cited figures refer to the line drawings of spores, cystidia and cuticular elements. Unfortunately the illustrations were inadvertently left out of the article as it originally appeared but will be included in a later issue of Lloydia.
