Abstract
The race of the Spotted Owl Athene brama mayri Deignan described from northern Siam is now proved to occur also in southern Siam. This race is distinguishable from the Burmese A. b. pulchra Hume by the larger and heavier white spotting on the upperparts. The Striated Weaver of Annam and Siam is described as Ploceus manyar ssp. williamsoni, 31 specimens examined and compared with the 4 other accepted races.
