The Sr content of plants from different districts of Amur area was determined spectrographically. The samples for analysis were taken from pastures and hayfields, areas where feed was grown, and grazing lands. The Sr content of the plants depended on the composition of the grass stand, conditions under which the grass sprouted, and the times when it was cut for hay. Thus, a maximum accumulation of Sr was observed in legumes, a minimum in sedges and grasses. The Sr content was higher in plants from the southern districts and moist lowlands than in those from the northern districts and dry meadow valleys and pastures. It was lower in hay cut in June than in Aug. hay as a result of abundant rains in July and Aug.
