The Aral white-eye spawns in the Amu-Dar'ya delta from the end of March to the beginning of May, depositing adhesive eggs on a plant substrate. Ripe eggs are grayish-yellow in color, with diameters of from 1.7 to 1.9 mm. Incubation period lasts 6 to 7 days at an average water temperature of 15.3[degree]C. Lengths of hatched out embryos are determined by egg size. Embryos of 5.9-6.5 mm length hatch out from eggs 2.3-2.7 mm in diameter, and of 4.3-6.2 mm length from eggs 2.0-2.3 mm in diameter. Reabsorption of egg yolk occurs within 13 to 15 day at a water temperature of 18[degree]C. The larval stage sets in at an average larval length of 21 mm.
