Abstract
The author refers briefly to the results of biological investigations in entomology which were done in the Systematic Zoology Department at the N. Copernicus University in Torun. The most important of them are those on the biology of Meligethes aeneus. (A. Blazejewska) and on the alimentary study of Lymantria dispar (B. Sochacka, T. Matysiak and S. Tarczynski) and of Antherea pernyi Guer. (T. Pestka). The author presents in addition the results of catching overground fauna by means of oat flour (F. Blazejewski) and of catching Nitidulidae and other related forms by means of apple marmalade (K. Pruffer).
