Host plants of the 2 vectors of groundnut rosette virus (GRV) in Central Province, Malawi are listed and tests for their reactions to a Malawi GRV isolate reported. None of the important aphid hosts supported the virus. Symptoms of GRV in Trifolium incarnatum L. and 4 Stylosanthes spp. are described.
